FAQs

With over 30+ years of industry experience, Crown Polymers is one of the Nation’s leading manufacturer of high-performance epoxy and urethane-based floor coating products and concrete repair systems for commercial, institutional and industrial floors.

We have access to the most advanced concrete coating technology systems. The prep work involved is critical and requires high end grinders and tools to ensure the materials bond successfully. The commercial grade materials/epoxy we use is time sensitive once mixed. Our crews have been trained to safely apply each step with efficiency and accuracy. After the floor has cured, the technology in our commercial grade material is designed to endure the lifetime of the concrete itself.
The only time we’ve seen our finish product yellow over time was with our pearl white marble finish. After having the epoxy manufacturing come out and diagnosis, it was due to consistent cigarette smoking in the space. If you plan to smoke cigarattes regularly on in the same space as your concrete coating, we’d recommend choosing any color EXCEPT white, marble. We’ve had customers call our team to redo a floor they had epoxied years ago that didn’t last and they are always amazed at the durability of our final result!
Our team uses top of the line material in our coating systems. These chemicals are highly time sensitive once mixed and we have over a decade of experience applying these safely and effectively. Thanks to the finishes we use in our coatings they will not discolor or chip up. We also have options of adding grit to the finish for a slip-resistant touch. This is often used on pool deck projects/patios as well as commercial kitchens.
Our coating systems are oil resistant. Most of our customers take pride in their luxury finish and do not leave oil sitting on their new epoxy floor for weeks
It can depend of course. 2-3 days is most often the case. Depending on cracks/damage of the original concrete, the square footage of the space, and the type of design you desire.
We work with individuals to create a custom plan for their project. The cost depends on the condition, age, and size of your concrete floor. We will meet with you to understand your goal and the work involved to attain it. We provide complimentary bids for anyone within a 45-minute radius of Bastrop, TX.
We have a portfolio including the traditional residential projects such as garage floors, pool decks/patios, indoor living spaces (main floor in home). On the commercial side, large warehouses, hospital/medical facilities, schools, commercial kitchens. Fun fact, our team has done concrete finish work with NASA for their Houston location! While it’s not as common, our concrete coatings are also effective for trailers and boats.

1. Prep – Grind and profile the concrete. This is vital to a strong bond and long-lasting results.

2. Repair – We use the best products to fill any cracks/blemishes in concrete.

3. Coat – We apply a base coat that has self-priming properties.

4. Flake – You choose the color of your choice, and we hand toss this eye-catching flake to the floor, creating texture.

5. Scrape – We level the floor by removing all excess flakes to prepare it for the final seal coat.

6. Seal – The final step includes applying a UV topcoat. Once completed, you will be pleased to see the transformation!

Our material is composed of polyamine primers. Our team uses high-performance epoxy systems by Crown Polymers. Our products are 100% manufactured in the U.S.A. We customize each project and have dozens of options of coating systems to choose from depending on the current state of the concrete floor as well as the result desired.
You can try! Many of our past clients called us because their DIY project didn’t turn out. Without access to commercial products, professional concrete grinders/tools, and the expertise around the prep work and application it makes sense to hire a skilled expert in the field. Our team has years of working with concrete chemicals, we know how to apply these time-sensitive materials safe and effectively. The installation process is critical to the integrity and appearance of your floor. Hiring an expert will give you peace of mind that your project will look great and be durable for years to come!
Absolutely! The investment involved will be a tad higher if we are involved grinding down an existing concrete coating. That is why it makes sense to call Divine Epoxy from the start and get your job done the right way!
Keeping up your brand-new epoxy floor is fun! Traditional cleaning methods including sweeping, mopping, and using a hose works well. Non-abrasive cleaners to remove grease/stains such as CLR work great. If you maintain your floor well, you will not need to reseal the floor.
